hi everyone. I know I havent posted since last month, but I have alot to tell. I was finally able to get my computer to become wireless along with my printer, I love its great not getting a message telling me that the USB port is communicating with whatever or who ever, that was really getting on my nerves, sometimes 30 mins later the printer would start printing things I had sent to it hous earlier I thought it was possesed. Anyways we got a new windshield on our van it was ready to shatter at any time. Earl got me a new "play toy" I love it its so much fun to use and play around with (now get your minds out of the gutter ok plzz). We r going over to my daughter Connies house for Easter which should be really nice we r looking forward to it. Then after we r taking my youngest granddaughter Christina for a few days for easter break, we love spending time with the girls. I know we will have alot of fun. We have some things planned that are a secret, I will let you know if they work out after.
In case I dont update blog before Easter plz have a blessed holiday.

hi everyone just wanted to check in I know that i said iwas going to write every couple days but its ending up every couple weeks but then I end up writing more so there is more to read and less to catch up on rite? anyways I had to have a mammogram on fri march 13th that came out great NO CANCER praise God!!!!!! Then I went to the surgeon and she said the reason why I was having problems was because there was excess tissue under the armpits it wasnt infected but i needed to still use powder for it. I am too see her in 3 months or actually see her patner who is a high risk cancer specialist no I dont have the big C but because my mom has had it it makes me more of a risk so be it I can handle that as long as I dont end up with it. GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!!! other than that everything is great hubby is still going to school, Boo my granddaughter is suppose to be coming over this weekend to spend time with grandpa and grandma her birthday is soon does that tell u who gets spoiled this weekend. dont worry my other granddaughter will get spoiled as well. got to go for now hope u enjoyed reading my update hugs to all

I just wanted to vent

hi everyone its almost the end of febuary. The weather has been crappy here one day its 15 below the next its 50 degrees u never know in Michigan. I havent been feeling really great lately am not sure what is going on. I have been sleeping alot as well as trying to manage my mail from all the yahoo groups I am in. The 2 pc groups I am in are awesome I am getting so many patterns from them I have to sit and decide what ones I want to make and for whom. We got the news that our tax refund was going to be late due to a mistake I made everyone has told me I shouldnt be hard on myselve well folks thats just the way I am especially when u r looking to use the money to do this and pay that or visa versa if u know what I mean. Its just frustrating well I know it will come just when we need it most.
we did get our van back, it was the battery but also something called the wiring harness is getting old so if we shut it off and it doesnt want to start earl has to get out open the hood and jiggle the harness andit will start that is until we get another one if they can find one. ALL THIS I AM LEAVING UP TO THE GOOD LORD ABOVE I am not going to worry about it cause worry is fear. and we r not suppose to be afraid AMEN

I am back in swing of things

Hi everyone just wanted to make a quick note to let you know I am back. Things have been ruff lately. Our van broke down, couldnt get it fixed till this week. We will hopefully find out what is wrong with it friday. Pray that it is minor with a capitol "M". We have been busy every sunday seeing my daughter and granddaughters which is alot of fun and we really enjoy it as well. I hope they do also. I am back into plastic canvas big time and totally enjoying it. I do still do crocheting but not as much as I did before. Well I guess that is it I am going to do some stitching and I will write more later have a great day. BE BLESSED NOT STRESSED GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE

I know I am terrible arent I not keeping up with my new yrs resolution well again I tried and it didnt work. things have been ok here earls surgery on both eyes went swimmingly fantastic. our van quit on us but i know that on sunday things will work out and it will be running again soon. I have been doing alot of plastic canvas and I enjoy it alot more rite now than crocheting dont know why just is I guess. I have posted new pics of the things Ive been making hope u enjoy it. my latest addiction is law and order suv I love watching it and trying to figure out who did what to who besides the butler. anyways its on so I am saying good nite for now

hi everyone yes I know I am behind in posting but I have a good reason its been too cold to even try to go on at nite cause the low last nite was 15 below and the windchill was 30 below YES YOU READ RITE tonite isnt suppose to be much better next week its suppose to be warmer Earl says bikini weather I said yea rite lol. so I am going to end this posting now before my fingers freeze off. (no matter how high u keep the temp in here its still cold i guess that happens when its only 2 above zero rite now rite

I know I am behind again. Everything seems to happen at the same time. Anyways hubby had his R eye cataract surgery and is doing totally marvelous. He cant wait to get the L eye done now on Jan 21 (actually neither can I cause the drop routine is driving me up a wall- is it just him or is it men in general that are babies when it come to eye drops) I will have fun next sunday doing 2 drops 3x a day in both eyes (I think they are both differant for each eye so its actually 4 kinds) then wed 1/21 he has the 2nd surgery and he will still be getting 2 drops in one eye and 3 drops in the other eye then we will be down to only one eye for 2 more weeks after that then Ill be a happy camper.
hope everyone had a good week and a half that I didnt write anything . I will be getting an etsey acct going very shortly hope u all will look into it

happy new year everyone. may this year be better for everyone. I am going to try to keep one of the resolutions I made for this yr which is to write in my blog atleast 3 times a week. So here is the first one of the week rite let see if i can do it. hi everyone sorry I am so behind in my postings that is one of my resolutions for the new year is to atleast try to update my blog atleast 2x a week among other things. now the questions is will this actually happen I hope so!!!!!! we got socked with almost a foot of snow that started at 5am or so. I thought it would just be like yrs before we wont get it well we sure did this time.
anyways I will be adding a new pic of my granddaughter tommorrow and some thing that I made out of plastic canvas. I guess I am back into PC again I really enjoy doing it again I guess its immediate gratification (u know what I mean lol) I guess I need to go let the dog out and see how much more we got. Snickers loves the snow I dont know if thats weird for a labador or not not sure will check it out

Good evening, I cant believe how fast the last 2 weeks have gone by. Maybe thats a good thing. I have my swaps to still finish before Monday or Tuesday. I still have some last minute Christmas gifts to get out including cards. Those that havent gotten a card from me by the middle of next week PLEASE forgive me. Its been so hectic here the last week or so. Sometimes I dont know whether I am coming or going. I am not ready for Christmas yet, but for my husband and I we believe that the TRUE meaning of Christmas is every day 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Christmas has become too comerialised (sp) u know what I am trying to say.
Kids now a days want this and that, why because their friend have it or they saw it on tv, they are sometimes not even happy with what you may get them which mite be specially made because its not what they wanted. Oh well thats life. I am hoping and praying hard that things will turn around for the economy cause it really needs to be turned especially in Michigan because of the big auto industry. well I guess thats for it tonite. hopefully I will start writing every nite.

Ive been laying low lately

i guess I wasnt as far behind as I thought. I have been busy making things for my swaps as well as things for christmas gifts. I gained a bunch of sisters this year so thats adds to my list alot. Then Earl and I just celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary we went out to dinner it was nice although both of us were sick with something not sure what but hopefully we are on the mend now. We are going over to my daughters house this weekend to celebrate thanksgiving and our anniversary I may have mentioned that on one of my othe rpostings sorry if its a repeat. I have been having fun printing out patterns for plastic canvas which I am now back into it alot more than crocheting. I may look into selling some of my handmade things on the site called Etsey although i need to find out more about it before i do that, u all know the usual questions, how much does it cost how much of what i sell do I get??? There are so many scams out there. I keep getting the Nigera scam letters saying that if i send them x amount of dollars then I will get over 35 million dollars well I have some swamp land i would like to sell them to and see what they would think JUST DONT FALL FOR IT ITS A SCAM

hi everyone hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving. Ours was quiet and peaceful. I fixed ham, mac & cheese, sweet taters, and green beans. We have been eating left overs for the past few days which is great cause ham tastes better the next day or 2 after. I have been trying to get some of my christmas gifts done in some ways I have actually done good at it. I am still trying to figure out what to send some while others I already know what I am making them.
I belong to a fantastic plastic canvas group on yahoo called Sistersinstitching. I have been getting atleast 15 patterns a day which I throughly enjoy alot since I have gotten back into doing PC. I guess thats it for today I will write more tommorrow.I wish everyone a safe and blessed weekend. I am stilltrying to figure out where the days are going it seems like u get into Monday and all of a sudden you are into Friday it seems to fast sometimes. Thats life I guess.

hi everyone its Monday already 3 more days till Turkey Day!!!! I have added some new things to my blog. actually alot. more pictures of the family (even though it needs to be turned) I am still a scanner newbie. Thats life I guess. I am having a so-so day just alot of pain and sleeping alot but the cold weather has alot to do with that. We had some snow on the ground not alot. I know in Canada they have alot. I want to apologize for something

I want to let everyone know that for the 1st yr in a very long time I am not sending out Thanksgiving cards. I forgot to and for that I am so sorry. It is just with Thanksgiving being this week the cards would never have made it to my friends and family. So please forgive me!!!!! I am going to send out Christmas cards the 1st week in Dec to make sure they get there.
Anyways today was a good day, I got some of my tuck-ins for the card swap I am doing for another group I am in. That should be fun sending and recieving.
I gave my daughter my "wish list" for Christmas. I dont have the foggiest idea of what I am going to buy for my husband for Christmas let alone our anniversary next sunday. But ill love celebrating both with him and the family.
Well I guess thats it hopefully sometime this week I will put in pics of things I have made myself. One question is anyone out there interested in Beanie Babies I have tons of them, new and old and some doubles. let me know

Hi everyone. Today I was busy. My husband started back to school, so he had to meet his teacher. Earl is so excited about it. So am I. We came back home and I crashed cause this weather is so hard on me health wise. I am going to work on my tie blanket that I am making for a christmas present I hope to post it when I get it done except I havent figured out how to shrink it where it will go on the screen. I will make a point tommorrow of fixing the pics that I posted of my family plus I will be adding more to them as far as things I have made as well as others.
Thats it for now hope u all enjoy have a great evening I am off to watch more House. I love that show it reminds me of Dr. Kildare.

Scanning I am not great at

I am so bad as far as scanning pics I cant believe they came in upside down and side ways. well anyways, that is my husband and I by the water in Bay City Michigan when the Tall Ships came in to harbor. It was awesome. We had a great time. The ships dont come in to Michigan that much but when they do its unforgettable.
The other picture is of my "baby" her name is Snickers, she is a 4 yr old Black, Chocolate, plus Flat Coat Retriever. Snickers is the love of our lives. We used to have a Irish Setter Lab Spanial and her name was Daisey. We had her for 12 yrs . You cant really tell the pics of these 2 dogs apart other than size wise. Personality wise Snickers is more spoiled than Daisey was. We miss Daisey so much.
I cant believe that this week is almost over and Thanksgiving is almost here. It has been a ruff yr for my husband and I as he was layed off a yr ago but we have made it with alot of belief and prayers.

I havent been up to much. Just trying to get things made for Christmas presents, going thru my patterns discarding the ones I dont really need even though I want to keep them all Ijust dont have room for them. I have already gotten rid of about 3 garbage bags worth. The good thing is I am finding things I had thought I lost awhile back. I have more to write so soon I will later.

I make small things like snowflakes, towel toppers, dishcloths, potholders.
I enjoy using peaches and cream thread , its easier to use than yarn.
I also make tie blankets out of fleece.
